the teacup story

I have collected succulents for more than 20 years and, more recently, teacups. The idea of putting my two interests together appealed to me. I decided to use this combination to raise funds for a family trip to Rome when my daughters (who were members of the Christ Cathedral Diocesan Children’s Choir) were invited to sing at various cathedrals during Christmas in the Vatican. This trip of a lifetime culminated with a mass celebrated by Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Basilica on New Year’s Day 2020!

I decided to continue with teacups and succulents because I really enjoy them. My decision to change my career path came during a time of personal reflection and desire to bring joy and quality to my life. I had been a professional social worker for 23 years and needed a change. My “aha” moment came while helping a customer choose his first succulent to take home. I was amazed by the attention and care he put towards choosing the succulent and vessel. This ultimately led to my business mission statement: to create unique, beautiful and quality succulent arrangements; to encourage interest and successful succulent gardening experiences; and to promote feelings of wellness and positivity by making people smile when they see my succulent creations.

My teacup succulent interest is no longer just a hobby. It is now a full-fledged business with a mission to fulfill. I am blessed to be surrounded and supported by talented friends and family who are helping me reach my goal. I would not be able to do this without them. Together, we look forward to serving you with the best arrangements for any occasion and making you smile with your new succulent friends.
